Yep, I can do some Web design. If you're looking for someone to put your entire product catalog on-line with an integrated inventory database and online store on a secure server, I'm probably not the guy to do the job. But if you want a nice, clean site explaining your particular widget or chingus, I'm perfect for that.
Here are some sites I've designed for you to poke at if you want:
The Chesterfield
Leather 'n Hawgs
Northwest Iowa American Legion Riders
Iowa Dual Recovery Anonymous
Simply Staged for You
Siouxland Sleep Out
Mike Palecek
Hope Talks
I've also done sites for a few local bands here in Sioux City (most of which I played bass for at one point or another) and a few other charities, but I figure the sites I've listed above will give you an idea of what I can do...
The Cost...
Charging money for web sites is difficult. No one really knows how much work it's gonna be until you get knee deep... But here's a rule-of-thumb set of guidelines:
- First page: $150
- Additional pages: $35 each
- Maintenance: $100/year for general maintenance, yadda yadda.
- $40/hour for major edits (rewrites, etc.)
If you want me to take pictures for your site, that costs a bit, but not enough to frighten you.
Generally, you're looking at between $300 and $500, on average. This includes setting up some custom e-mail addresses (within reason), and stuff like that. I know this probably sounds expensive, but if you look around, you'll find that it's actually pretty reasonable. I may have to charge a little bit to set up the server space and domain name, but that's usually covered in the "Maintenance" aspect unless something strange happens. Please note: the more organized the information is when you give it to me, and the more you have already written, the less it will cost. |
